BBA is participating to a framework contract funded by European Commission: Lot 10: Trade, Standards and Private sector
Belgian Bankers Academy is part of one of the consortia selected for Lot 10. This means that we are member of a permanent shortlist to which managers of EC External Aid programmes refer whenever they require short term assistance in Trade, Standards and Private sector. As its name suggests, the Framework Contract (FWC) is a generic instrument covering the entire range of the Commission Services’ external assistance Programmes and sectors of intervention. The FWC has been set up in order to provide the managers of EC external aid programmes with access to short-term technical assistance. Its twin virtues are flexibility and speed: the FWC can be used to provide much-needed support to the Beneficiaries to address issues that were not foreseen in the national or regional programmes, to provide an immediate response in emergencies or to prepare the ground for initiatives planned under the multi-annual indicative programmes. A project may be identified; the Request for Services issued and the team of experts can commence work all in a matter of a few weeks. The FWC is therefore a strategic tool enabling the Commission Services’ to deliver timely, cost-effective and focused assistance at short-notice. The FWC is a multiple Framework Contract since several individual contracts will be concluded on identical terms.
In the framework of this contract we are continuously looking for suitable experts. If you are interested in collaborating with BBA you can send your CV in EC format to opportunities@bbacademy.be.
