About the Role
The Financial Sector Development and Financial Inclusion Support Project (PADSFI), financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB), aims to strengthen the stability, depth, and inclusiveness of the financial system in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In this context, the Belgian Bankers Academy (BBA) is assisting the Project Management Unit (PMU/PADSFI) in implementing a mission to raise awareness among Congolese financial market players.
This mission includes, in particular:
- the drafting of an Investor's Guide,
- the establishment of a yield curve,
- a training and awareness program in several cities across the country.
About the Role
Under the supervision of the Head of Mission, the Trainer of Trainers will be responsible for designing and implementing capacity-building programs for Congolese financial market actors.
He/she will develop teaching approaches tailored to adult professionals (andrology) and will train trainers responsible for supervising Treasury Securities Specialists (SVT) and partner financial institutions.
Main responsibilities
- Design the training manual and teaching materials tailored to the needs of the project.
- Develop and deliver training modules on the financial market, investment, and management practices.
- Train regional trainers and strengthen their teaching skills.
- Organize and facilitate participatory training workshops in Kinshasa and the provinces.
- Implement tools for knowledge assessment and post-training follow-up.
- Capitalize on best practices and contribute to the national capacity building strategy.
Required profile
- Master's degree (BAC+5) in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including 5 years in adult training or institutional capacity building.
- Proven experience in training trainers and designing educational programs.
- Have led at least one similar mission in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Knowledge of best practices in adult training.
- Excellent command of French; knowledge of a national language is an asset.
