Description

The Tunisian Investment Fund (FTI) aims to consolidate its position as a key player in development financing in Tunisia, focusing on underserved market segments, priority sectors, and projects with high regional and social added value.

As part of the KfW-funded "Financing SMEs for Employment Promotion II" program, the project to support the FTI's five-year strategic planning aims to provide the institution with a clear, structured roadmap aligned with national priorities for growth and economic inclusion.

The mission includes:

the production of a concept note establishing the diagnosis of the private equity market and the role of the FTI in financing the economy;

the organization and facilitation of a national workshop involving public and private actors in the investment sector;

developing a five-year action plan incorporating strategic priorities, financial instruments, governance tools, and regional priorities;

producing an executive summary outlining the main guidelines and recommendations for implementing the strategic plan.

This work is part of the Tunisian government's commitment to improving the governance of public funds, simplifying the procedures for granting investment incentives, and strengthening the effectiveness of policies to support the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
