The Belgian Bankers Academy helped COPEDU PLC analyze and optimize its product offering to become the first women-focused bank in Africa. The mission was divided into four key stages:
Diagnosis of the existing offering
Review of current financial products (commercial, agricultural, and social loans) and identification of barriers to their adoption by women and young people.
Gender and sector segmentation
Detailed analysis of needs by gender and age group, segmented by sector of activity (SMEs, agriculture, trade).
Product and marketing recommendations
Proposals for new, tailored credit and savings products, targeted communication and marketing strategies.
Digital integration
Review of existing digital finance solutions, recommendations for the implementation of mobile tools and online platforms to expand reach.

- Collect and analyze data on existing products and customer feedback
- Segment by gender/age and map the needs of MSMEs
- Design new credit and savings products for women and youth
- Develop targeted marketing and communication strategies
- Recommend digital solutions to strengthen financial inclusion for women and youth
