Description

As part of the SEA 2023 framework, Lot 8 aims to provide technical support services in the areas of private sector development, business competitiveness, entrepreneurship, value chains, and employment. Interventions may include market diagnostics, value chain analyses, support for business formalization, support for MSMEs, the implementation of private sector-friendly policies, and employment and economic inclusion support programs.

The lot allows for a rapid response to various requests from the Commission or delegations: feasibility studies, support for project structuring, institutional strengthening, assistance with market access, entrepreneurial support, and other technical services to stimulate the private sector in partner countries.

Role of BBA

As a member of the consortium awarded Lot 8, BBA mobilizes experts in economic development, business support, value chains, MSMEs, and entrepreneurship to:

  • conduct market and business environment assessments;
  • support the creation and development of MSMEs, productive structures, or cooperatives;
  • support sectoral support, value creation, and economic diversification projects;
  • support EU policies on private development and economic inclusion.
