Enabel – Belgian Development Agency

Description

Implemented by the Belgian Bankers Academy (BBA) as part of Enabel's Governance and Economy portfolio in the DRC, this project supports the consolidation of a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tshopo province.

The mission is to support three key incubation structures—Elykia (Federation of Congolese Enterprises), ANADEC, and INPP—in order to strengthen their governance, management tools, training capacities, and support mechanisms.

The aim is to professionalize incubation practices, stimulate local entrepreneurship, and promote the creation of sustainable jobs in promising sectors such as agribusiness, timber, and services. This initiative is part of the national strategy for the development of entrepreneurship and the creation of productive jobs.

Role of BBA

BBA provides technical assistance, methodological coordination, and international expertise transfer to partner incubators. It supports local structures in developing business plans, implementing monitoring tools, developing training modules, and strengthening institutional governance.
