In a context where Sager Ganza Microfinance is seeking to strengthen its social and financial impact on low- and middle-income households, BBA was commissioned to develop a five-year strategic plan. The mission was carried out in several phases:
Data collection and analysis
Review of the previous strategic plan and financial reports.
Field surveys with clients (SMEs, youth cooperatives, women).
Assessment of ICT infrastructure and recommendations for optimization.
Market research and SWOT
Mapping of the microfinance sector in Rwanda.
Detailed SWOT analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Identification of promising segments and services to be developed.
Development of strategic plan and business plan
Multi-year financial projections (revenue, P&L, cash flow).
Definition of operational, commercial, and technological objectives for 2023–2027.
Validation of the plan by the Board of Directors, integration of their feedback.
Deliverables and implementation
Market assessment and analysis report.
MSME customer mapping and segmentation report.
Risk report and strategic recommendations.
Detailed three-year business plan and associated budget.
Marketing strategy and communication plan.
Operational roadmap with milestones, responsibilities, and key performance indicators.
Role of BBA
