The Awa Prize is an Enabel initiative designed to showcase and support women entrepreneurs active in partner countries. Following the competition, 27 winners were selected to receive enhanced support aimed at strengthening their entrepreneurial skills and accelerating the development of their businesses.

In this context, BBA, Belgian Bankers Academy, was commissioned to design and deliver a comprehensive capacity-building programme comprising:

• an individual entrepreneurial assessment for each winner

• intensive training sessions focused on financial management, strategy, leadership, business structuring and access to finance

• personalised coaching tailored to the maturity level of each project

• practical, solution-oriented workshops supporting the growth and sustainability of entrepreneurial initiatives

• support in consolidating business plans and development prospects

The assignment is being implemented in Senegal, the programme’s host country, and directly contributes to Enabel’s objective of strengthening women’s entrepreneurship as a driver of economic and social transformation.
