Description

Under the SEA 2023 framework contract, Lot 8 provides technical assistance services in the areas of private sector development, enterprise competitiveness, entrepreneurship, value chains and employment.

Assignments may include market assessments, value chain analyses, support for business formalisation, assistance to MSMEs, the development of private sector policies, and programmes promoting employment and economic inclusion.

The lot enables the European Commission and EU delegations to respond rapidly to a wide range of needs, including feasibility studies, project structuring, institutional strengthening, market access, entrepreneurial support and other technical services aimed at stimulating private sector development in partner countries.

Rôle de BBA

As a member of the consortium awarded Lot 8, BBA mobilises experts in economic development, business support, value chains, MSMEs and entrepreneurship.

  • conduct market and business environment assessments

  • support the creation and development of MSMEs, productive enterprises and cooperatives

  • support sector development, value creation and economic diversification projects

  • support EU policies on private sector development and economic inclusion
