Belgian Bankers Academy maintains a permanent pool of experts in climate risk management for its international technical assistance, advisory and training assignments.
BBA contributes in particular to programmes and framework agreements linked to the European Investment Bank, including Global Gateway and EIBAS. These assignments cover the integration of climate risks into financial supervision, risk governance, climate stress testing, scenario analysis, physical and transition risks, and their incorporation into credit risk management.
We are seeking experienced professionals in climate risk management, climate stress testing, climate scenario analysis, physical climate risk, transition risk, climate risk governance, climate risk in credit and prudential supervision.

Profiles Sought
BBA is looking for senior experts, team leaders, sector specialists, consultants and trainers with proven experience in climate risk management applied to the financial sector.
Experience working with central banks, supervisory authorities, financial institutions, development banks, donors or international cooperation programmes is a strong asset.
Candidates should be able to contribute to the analysis of physical and transition risks, climate stress testing, forward-looking scenarios, risk governance, prudential supervision, and the integration of climate-related issues into credit and risk management processes.
Fluency in English is generally required. Knowledge of French and other working languages is an advantage.
Collaboration Arrangements
Assignments are carried out on an independent basis. They may take the form of short-term or long-term assignments, remote services or international travel.
Contractual terms, duration, location and fees are defined for each assignment.
